Man City to make Daniel Sturridge Englands highest paid teen

If he is demanding a lot more than £45,000 then I say let him go, he is obviously only motivated by money, not proving he is worth it by forcing his ay into the team and scoring a bag full of goals, and in the current state of the finances in the country, he will only be seen as being greedy and egotistical by fans, not just from City but any potential club looking to sign him. He obviously has the potential, but at the moment thats all it is, and he should let his feet do the talking not his mouth or his agent.

I think it would be a mistake for the club to walk away, IF he does become the player that it looks like he will, how many true top flight natural goalscorers have we had in the last 30 year? I can think of 2 Brain Kidd, Nicolas Anelka, the risk is too great.

score a few goals first...then let your greedy twat of an agent ask without embarrassment...45k a week is ridiculous never mind 75

£45k a week would be fair considering what we've just given Bridge and Bellamy

No it wouldn't, they are both established Premier league players and regular full internationals. What we pay other established players is irrelevant as Sturridge is not yet a regular first team member. Even £30K a week for a 19 year old is too much IMO.
