My initial reaction to this line up is changing by the minute.

Last time round we paid them far too much respect and set out to negate them. Over two legs we were owned.

Might as well throw the kitchen sink at it and see how we go.

If it all starts going a bit Pete Tong, we can stiffen things up from the bench.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained :)

Same here, I was gutted at first but now I'm thinking fuck it we might as well have a go at them, last time around we had injuries in midfield and up front, we also had MDM going through his own personal nightmare.
bollocks to it go for them from the off, if we start getting over run then bring on the extra midfielder.

well thats why we never progress in the CL. Its not how you win and progress...its not the 2nd leg, its only game 1. Chelsea over the years have proven how you play against them, you pack the midfield. Look at what Bayern did to them and A.Madrid.

Like it or not, 4-4-2 is Pellegrini's formation. It's our formation, and we won the PL with it last year.

Yes this is Europe, and yes there is a great chance we will get dicked over. But it is our time to stamp our mark on the competition, our way.
have to get the ball first and string 2 passes together atleast. 442 with Milner & FErnando in the middle... not looking so rosy.

Can't imagine being in the trenches with you lot haha!

"th-th-those ger-German t-t-t-tanks look big... Maybe we s-should turn b-back??"

We all know strange things can happen in football but that looks like a P45 line-up tp me.

Im going for the positive - no Kolarov
The thing is, Manuel will probably axe Clichy if this ends bad and opt for Kolarov in the second leg...

With maybe Boyata and Mdm centre halfs.

I don't think many would have gone with nando and milner in cm,he must be playing nasri and silva very narrow, i think i may miss post match if it goes tits up
