We beat them 4-2!

only because we brought on as much of our defence as we could at half-time, don't dress it up as something it wasn't,

So scoring 4 second half goals didn't help?

Back 4, all internationals against a Championship side at home yet it isn't good enough to cope?

Give over ffs

It should be good enough, against Watford it wasn't. Let's hope that was just a bad 45 mins at the office.

MCFC: Pantilimon, Richards, Demichelis, Lescott, Clichy, Navas, Toure(c), Garcia, Nasri, Negredo, Aguero.

That backline is there to be punished, far too much put on Barca which is the one we should be dropping.

We are playing a Championship side at home.

Uwe would give his right arm for that back 4 so stop being so melodramatic.

Strong side which should be more than good enough to get the win.
Agreed

because he corrected his starting line-up error.

We should win anyway, and we must win anyway, so let's see if Micah and JoLe and a 2 man Javi/Yaya combination have been blessed with the powers they didn't have earlier in the season. If they have then we'll be in for a great day.

Dave Whelan broke his leg at wembly????
WTF ...how come I never heard of this
news to me as well. You'd have thought he would have mentioned something like that before.

Like ive said earlier mate. Sometimes we concede a goal because of good play and it doesn't make someone shit and it doesn't mean we are a disaster defensively.

That back 4 today is more than good enough and Pellegrini has picked a very strong side.

That story about the young disabled mascot for Wigan in last years final was really moving.

I suppose we're going to have to sit thru the Wigan and Dave Whelan's broken leg story every time we play Wigan, or face a supposed "inferior" side in the cup.
But FFS, its getting boring already, and it's only been 10 months!
Suppose it will focus the players minds somewhat with the memories of last year
