I watched it with several neutrals (including a couple of rags) who didn't see anything wrong with it. The two pundits on AD Sports (can't for the life of me remember who they were this weekend) didn't think it was a foul either. I presume they were being honest, as why would they possibly lie?
Ah, but you could of course, be being dishonest about all of that. ;-)
You've got me there!
I also watched the game on AD Sports. Both pundits agreed that it was no foul. I think one may have been Andy Townsend and other some Scotsman, but not 100% sure. On first watching, I was waiting for the flag to go up. On second, third and fourth watching, I feel that the defender was at fault. If Bazza hadn't scored, it should have been a penalty for a "making a back" offence. Thank God it wasn't disallowed coz I doubt we would have scored from a penalty the way we were playing.

It was so frustrating, it felt a bit like the QPR game. I agree it was a perfect goal by Barry

Didn't feel we played that bad. We created enough chances to win the game and had loads of shots on goal, but they were mostly off target

everything was wrong from the off, the team selection was a piss take out of reading and it nearly cost us.

mancini please note.

THERE ARE NO EASY GAMES IN THE PREM.

have to agree with you there/ "no easy games" ;-) 3 points all the same so hope Mancini learns from today , we need to break teams like reading quick in the game

Seen a few comments critical of the team selection

Yet Aguero and Tevez are surely the best starting two, and if players aren't fully fit the options aren't that great?

There may have been two starters who would have made a huge difference: Clichy and Milner but I don't know if they are fully fit. Both have been injured. Surely they'd have played if the manager thought they could handle the Christmas fixtures

Tevez is a great player but he is not scoring enough goals. Sergio also needs to be more clinical. In my opinion we needed to start with Edin and play wider, put some crosses in to test their defence at an early stage in the game. We got away with it, but hope we learn from the game.

I'd like see us start with Dzeko up front and Kolarov and Maicon bombing on down the wings. We did try it against Madrid at home which was probably the wrong game to experiment, but against Reading yesterday we were crying out for wide players to get behind them

no width, build up play too slow against a flat back 8

a touch of complacency??

but we got away it, but we must learn from it

i agree completely, its a game where you need width and pace and bobby stubbornly refused to change this, i fucking hate it when silva tevez aguero play as a front 3, because if im honest it gives us no width.

Please explain where the width and pace go against a team defending the 18 yard box with 8 players

down the flanks, didnt you see the space rekik had on the left, it was crying out for proper width.
