We beat Wrexham 2-1 in front of about 7,000 on 28 October 1944 in the North Regional League - 3 days after I was born! (Source - Manchester City - A Complete Record)

3-0 win away at Leicester August 1946 (born April) with Les McDowall scoring one of the goals.

McDowall went on to manage the team from 1950 to 1963 and won the FA Cup in 1956. An interesting fact is that he was born in India.
