Wrap yourself up good and proper, and sweat it out. Full wool clothing, in bed, with the heating on. And drink lots of water!

I had proper flu 6 weeks back and just as it went I got the vomiting bug. So, with the greatest of respect, you can take your man flu and, err... enjoy sex and travel.
Proper flu can be unpleasant but it really is not as bad as man flu trust me on this one, I think the poor bloke must be suffering badly. Birds can get ordinary flu it can be a little unpleasant but it is basically a bit like PMT not something to be taken seriously unlike man flu.Summerbuzz said:I had proper flu 6 weeks back .

Well that is very kind of you young lady.
I thought I was on the mend but have gone down hill again today and currently feel like boiled shite. Still got a constant runny nose (blood in it most of the day), real raspy cough, headache and the new symptom today seems to be a sickness in the stomach. I am hungry but cannot face anything.
All that said, I did manage to watch the Exorcist today which was nice.

funny that, cos reading your symptoms the first thing that sprang to mind was demonic possession
