Has anyone heard from Irlam? Is he ok? Did he make it through the night?
I've been worried sick all day...

Well that is very kind of you young lady.

I thought I was on the mend but have gone down hill again today and currently feel like boiled shite. Still got a constant runny nose (blood in it most of the day), real raspy cough, headache and the new symptom today seems to be a sickness in the stomach. I am hungry but cannot face anything.

All that said, I did manage to watch the Exorcist today which was nice.

funny that, cos reading your symptoms the first thing that sprang to mind was demonic possession

Well my mother does cook socks in hell.

Awww bless, may I prescribe these tablets for you

don t get sick much and i sure as feck wouldn t buy tablets for the sake of it.

Well if you ever have bad man flu and fancy going on a "trip" whilst having your symptoms relieved at the same time then I suggest Benylin 4flu medicine. ;-)

Yep. I've got it. But like all men I'm battling through it. I have only been laid up in bed for 2 days with it so far.

The BM ladies simply won't understand the pain and suffering that man-flu brings. It is a level of pain totally incomprehensible to the fairer sex.

One more day in my pit should crack it.

I'm a bit worried you've come down with it this early in the season, Irlam. Usually it's closer to Christmas before the body's natural defences get battered into submissions.

Perhaps it's a stronger, far more deadly strain of man flu that we're seeing this year.

That's probably it.

I've just got over my bout, started small two weeks ago and just progressively got worse, peaked over the weekend. I shall wear this like a badge of honour for the next two weeks in the name of all those men who did not make it through the battle with man flu.
