I had a burglar in December. He kicked in my back door exact same time as I opened the front after coming home on a Saturday night. He legged it. I often wondered if I'd killed him if I'd have told the police and become a national hero [I could do with a holiday somewhere hot and sunny] claiming self defence or if I'd have buried the fucker in the garden creating a big mystery.

Bottom burglars can be nasty. l hope your sphincter has fully recovered, mate; )

I wonder if the burglar has any previous convictions? I somehow doubt that was his first robbery.
If that happened here in Florida he'd have been made to listen to The Smiths and Morrisey legally too.

Not sure that matters in the UK. They’ve seen them break in, arm themselves with knives and used them to kill somebody. That’s premeditated murder unless they can use self defence.

I doubt many countries look to Florida as an example to set their laws by.
