Absolutely superb teaser trailer, the music is amazing.

As Corky said, a dark and gritty Superman movie is what i have been waiting for, seriously cannot wait for this.

It isn't original so won't be part of the soundtrack, I recognised it straight away. It's from Lord of the Rings.

Yeah I know its from LOTR but I'm not a fan of that trilogy at all so I don't associate it wit LOTR. The trailer music won't be in the film but it is most definitely effective at getting me excited!

You're right it is an excellent choice for this particular trailer, makes it feel really raw. Not a huge Superhero movie kind of guy, but I might make an exception for this one.

whats the angle on this one ?? is it the normal found by the Kents then brought up as a boy or is it a reboot like batman,

hes a fisherman in this trailer and hitch hiking!


anyway, this is the film ive been waiting for, dark and moody superman

I'm guessing it's the whole brought up by a working class family then needs to go "find himself" before choosing to become a "hero".

Just my opinion.

Superman Returns was terrible and the third and fourth were even worse. Always loved the first two.

Cavill is a great actor so I'm expecting good things from him.

The Comic Con trailer is longer and is available on YouTube before they take it down, it shows much more than this trailer, I have high expectations for this, I think it will be a finding his place in the world before been called on to save the world from Zod, very similar to the Earth One comic reboot a few years ago. Visually I think it wil be stunning as the director is Zach Snyder who did 300 and Watchmen.
