Bernardo back to his very best.
Cancelo has turned into KDB, spraying dangerous balls all over the place.

Another team performance, so for the goal and assist Bernie. Cancelo for the assist and assist assist came runner up

Straight fight between Bernie and Cancelo for me. Gunders and Rodri mentioned in dispatche. Quality, professional performance.....except in the opposition penalty area. Jesus‘ miss was mind blowing and I have no words for Sterling. Gave the ball away like Trent Alexander Arnold on a trampoline.
You really dont understand Football do you.?
When you play out wide, its a given that at some stage in the match you will lose the ball.thats basic.its part of a wingers locker.its all in the mix.
Playing away from home ,in Germany, switching wings at the managers direction, keeping any eye on the tatical plan.yes Sterling could be forgiven for losing the ball a few times. Like Foden. This is the Champions League.classy hard adroit german full backs...playing on their own turf.Losing the ball a fewtimes is gonna be expected from any winger,in those circumstances.
Imo.
Overall,Sterling played his part in a Fantastic team performance.

Not having that!

If Sterling was actually picked on performance, he would have been dropped for about a month now, and Mahrez would be starting out right, Foden out left.

Jesus had a very good game...with one glaring exception! :-(

I went for Bernardo, with Cancelo a very close second.

The Energizer Bunny has rekindled his form from a season ago, and his pressing is Biblical in its speed, consistency and persistence.

Given that he scored the first from virtually the same ball by Cancelo, one might have forgiven him for heading on goal again. However, as a heads up, totally aware player, he put it on a plate for Jesus.

I’d honestly give him a rest on the weekend, starting KDB (if he’s fully fit), then rotate Gundo out against Wolves a few days later.

Excellent team win based on always being on the front foot pressing them, then controlling the ball in possession. There are no mugs at this stage of the CL, and we were dominant from the outset. Indeed, apart from a brief spell of sustained pressure for 10 mins in the Second Half, and a couple of almost chances when they got in behind, this was as comprehensive as it can be at this stage...without the goals to show for it!

They weren't "on their own turf", which suggests you don't grasp football that well either, before you attack someone you should check your own info.

Sterling did pretty much everything he could do wrong tonight, he didn't give it away a "few times" he did it regularly, he even tackled his own player who was about to shoot at a pretty empty goal.

Sterling was taken off early, and then lectured in the dugout by his manager, after being told to swap sides by him earlier in the game after he'd given the ball away needlessly.
