He was very creditable, wasn't he? Not quite MOTM, in my view, but good to see someone defending him. Some on here are writing him off already, and we've barely even seen him play! What is it about City fans that we feel the need to do that?
I surmise that both Rodri and Cancelo will be big players for us, but as of next season. They need a season to bed in.
(Gabi my man of the match, by the way. Not very controversial...)

I thought Cancelo was MOTM. Played great all game. Honours generally go to goal scorers though

Mahrez. He's so underated it's unbelievable, he creates chance after chance after chance.

Great performance all round. Gabby shades it but thought Cancelo was absolutely outstanding

Fern for me. Gave a masterful performance at the back. Really impressed with Garcia and of course Gabby had a great game. Mendy was improved although his touch and passing is still not good enough. Has a mistake in him every game but luckily we had cover yesterday.

Only just seen the game, jesus for me, but there were other very good performances.

Garcia had a good game but he wasn't better than Rodri and especially Fernandinho. If Rodri and Dinho were 18 y.o. we would be absolutely delighted by their performances. Same with Gundogan and Kevin. Since Garcia is a kid, people are very impressed with his performance. Was he in top 5 of our performers last night? Both WBs were exellent, Rodri and Dinho, Gundy, Gabby.
