I can't seem to get over the fact the Stirling got 2 votes.
Maybe appropriate that a recently deceased R.I.P. legendary motor racing driver, would get a respectful 2 points on a sad night like this. It didn't happen though, Raheem got there first.

All of the worst players on the pitch have been voted for in all of our games. Bizarre.

Some people have their favourites and seem to have to show faith in them no matter how bad they are or how wrong they are to keep sticking up for them.

Then when these players finally have their good game in six, these people pop up and say “I told you he was good, none of you know what you’re talking about”.

There’s no objectivity in some people when it comes to some players.

I have read a lot of posts about how great Gundo was. He wasn’t great - he just wasn’t terrible like most of the rest of the team. When he plays deep his default is still to look for a backwards pass or at best a square pass. This just kills our momentum. When he plays further forwards he gets into some great positions but his final pass is awful. Take a look how many times in the second half he played the ball forward to nobody or out of play for a goal kick. He’s an incredibly frustrating player to watch.

Despite all that, because he wasn’t terrible, he was the Motm. Slim Pickings !

Gundogan by a mile, seemed a yard quicker last night, and with a better header, and a bit of luck with the free kick could have scored 3.
