70 grand a year plus expenses,also refs often do the after dinner speaking circuit,another nice earner.Not a bad wage for 'top' officials.
Then there is the possible unofficial bonuses for services rendered like today,who knows?

Agreed.If there is corruption involved it'll be more than likely only a select few referees and be to do with gambling scams imo.
 
Looks like there going to get a lot of favours fron the referees this season not like they didnt get a lot last season
 
Baconface's final season, so all those with the power to do so will be going out so he retires on a high. And what better way to go than raising our trophy high as we are forced to sit and watch endless replays, while Tyler and the like screech "Roooooney" at us ad nauseam as all media outlets clear their schedules for a week of celebration.

Or some such nonsense...
