A lot of people are getting a bit carried away here, they're not going to roll over, they'll come out and go for it, they've got nothing to lose, it's us we've got to worry about, complacency overconfident thinking the ties already won, if we start off slow and lethargic we could be in trouble especially if they get an early goal. It's far from over this game.
Yep, complacency has been a big problem for us this season

Pep Guardiola: "It’s Man United, they can do it, they have done it, they have to do almost a perfect game. In these kinds of games against incredible teams with incredible history, they have pride. I know how difficult it will be to reach the final.”

Pep Guardiola on the schedule: “We accept the schedules and the competitions, the games every two or three days, but don’t tell the manager what teams to pick. We’ll be there at the times, but don’t tell us which players to pick.”

Pep Guardiola on his comments regarding attendance: "First of all I understand it. Never it was my intention to offend them. But until the last day here I will fight to see the Etihad full every single game. It's up to us to play good, to seduce them to come..."

"We want to see the people enjoy together the games."

Pep Guardiola: “Since I was here I learned about FA Cup and the Premier League, it’s more important to this club than the Champions League, so it’s my mistake that I thought it would be full at 1pm on a Sunday. I will try again to push them to be with us..."

"If it’s full every single game it will be better. It’s so nice to have the fans here, I’ll always be grateful for the support.”

Pep Guardiola on #MCIMUN: "We have to be careful about the counter attack, the set pieces and how good United play. They have nothing to lose, they’re going to attack, we have to control our emotions and we have to try to score goals.”

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Aymeric Laporte is a 'doubt' for the Manchester derby.

"We have some doubts, tomorrow we’ll do our last check and decide. Laporte is one of the doubts.”

Pep Guardiola on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's comments regarding Manchester City showing respect to Manchester United: "I show respect to my opponents from day one of my career to now. We did it against Fulham, we always show respect to the opponents.”

What has noddy been saying?

Nothing. The answer was a response to a journalist's question about OGS comments that in the 1st leg City had played their strongest side and the journalist was suggesting we had not. I don't what angle the journalist had in mind.

I thought Pep spoke very well about his and the players relationship with the fans. He said he stood by his comments but effectively repositioned and elaborated on what he meant. He wants the stadium to be full but appreciates the support and understands the financial pressures.
