Two cups and the CL final, possibly winners, is very impressive.
Bingo probably deserves it if they win on Saturday, but the award shouldn't include European games if it's made before the final.
However, the media and armchair Muppets worship the CL which is an issue for us as the majority of City fans prefer to win the league. We want the CL once to shut people up, but otherwise it's the PL every time for me.
So it's the preference that gets us annoyed at Klopp winning, and also the fact that the few times the title winning manager has been overlooked has been when City were champions.

Pep won't be arsed, in fact the more they pull this shit, the more likely he is to hang around even longer at City as his point about the media etc being scouse is proven every time they do this crap

So Keep it up you thickos and galvanise Pep and his team even more, making him even more determined to rub their noses in his and City's success
It's generated an image in my head of Pep taking another puff on that cigar when he hears about it.

As others have said, there might be an argument for him winning the LMA or some other kind of general manager award, but the Premier League Manager of the Year? For finishing second? I'd not only have Pep ahead of him for winning a title without a striker, but also Frank for his accomplishments with Brentford, Conte for revitalizing Spurs, Howe for turning Newcastle around, and Potter for making Brighton one of the best teams to watch in the country.

It's a popularity contest with the media, plain and simple. And they've drummed up this "Klopp orchestrated one of the most dramatic comebacks in Prem history" narrative, talking about them being 20 points behind or whatever, when really they were never technically *that* far behind us. We'd just played more games.

Oh well, we've got the league, Kloppy, you enjoy your little medal. ;)

If Pep had his record this season I could put forward a good case - two domestic cups, albeit on pens, and a CL final. It's a pretty good record, and it it weren't the Dippers we'd be applauding that kind of performance. I think we might have been eight or nine votes down to start with!

To be fair winning 2 cups, finished 2nd to a phenomenal City side and got to a Champion League final is very impressive.

Deserved imo

If Pep did that I would be expecting him to pick up the award. Not that I really care as long as we keep winning titles :)

All it’s given on is premier league cups dont shouldn’t come into it and why what’s coming out is the line Klopp kept the premier league Alive to the last day
