If your chest swells with pride everytime you see a City shirt, if you feel a surge of immense satisfaction when City win a game and if you feel almost suicidal when we lose and they win - then you're a Blue.
Through to the core.
Top comment that just about sums up what it means to be a Blue - whether or not you were born here.
I'm Manchester born and bred and I have to say that reading all your posts makes me proud to have you as fellow supporters. In fact, I would think it's been easier for me over the years (I'm over 40!) to be a Blue because it was one choice or the other (although I'd have to say I didn't choose the easy option as all my family are rag supporters!). The fact that you all chose City when it would have been far easier to go for a more successful non-local team proves you're all made of the right stuff.
As for newbies - welcome aboard - you will be the foundation of our growing fanbase for the future, which is necessary to sustain our beloved club. The only thing I ask is that you show your support with decorum - don't be like the plastic supporters of other clubs who snigger and belittle other teams, who boast and brag - that to me is not being a fan and that's when you will be classed as a glory-hunter.
