Manchester’s Changing Skyline

Aaron Fleet - Linkedin

Great news announced by @whitbreadproperty, as we look to grow our network of hotels in Central Manchester with the acquisition of a development site on the edge of Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

With construction work expected to commence this summer, the new location will feature our latest format Premier Inn and Premier Plus bedrooms and allow us to better serve our guests with the right number of rooms in this popular city centre location.

We are very excited about the potential opportunities that this new development presents within the Manchester community, find out more in the post below.

PROJECT UPDATE: One Victoria

Great News! We’re making excellent progress on One Victoria in #Manchester for our client, One Heritage Group PLC.

The cast structural frame is now in place on blocks A and B up to the seventh storey, enabling the SFS (Steel Frame System) for the external make-up to begin, which is already completed up to level 2.

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plant), including rainwater and downpipes, have progressed up to level 3, and we are also preparing the ground slabs. External frames and window glazing begin this week on level 1 block A.

Took some pictures today in town, mainly around New Cross, Red Bank, and Greengate, plus a few other areas of the city centre as I criss-crossed it. If I’ve got time I’ll post the pictures tonight. If not tomorrow afternoon.

Add Manchester‘s tallest proposed tower, Viadux 2, 1 Medlock Street, Vision, Contour, Stay City(concrete core) and another student tower on First Street. That’s going to be some skyline as you drive into the city centre along princess Parkway.
