as from today utd are weaker, much weaker. lets not weaken ourselves. any manager they get in will need "time", mancini has done his "time" and we are ahead of them for the first time in decades. would be criminal to give this opportunity up.

Or maybe now is the time to turn the screw, go up a level and get a manager who can get the best from our superior squad.

With Jose or Ancelotti maybe, but Pellegrini no way.

Well we were certainly still on the lookout in the spring of 2010 and he admitted he was talking to Monaco in 2012. I think we were OK in 2011 though.

Did he resign on any of these occasions as we were told he would be doing?

Ultimately if we did not give him some of the terms of the contract - he would have done one. It took some time to iron the deal out considering he had just won the league.

Me personally hopes he moves on after winning the cup this weekend. Leaving on a high.

Last thing I want to see is Moyes doing a number on him again after moving to the RAGs.

Fresh start - Mancini becomes a part of our history (a successful) and we get a new guy in to take on Mourinho & Moyes

So thats a no then.

Whatever we do from today. Whichever way we turn - the aim should be to bury the RAGs. We can not let the new man in charge settle in the job

I have said it numerous times on this thread and the other Mancini threads. If you talk about Jose I will listen. Just the same if Billy mentions Kloop or PB throws in Ancelotti.

Pellegrini isn't the same. Even more so now with todays events which mean our two biggest domestic rivals face potential traumatic times that come with a change of Manager at this level. Mancini has his faults we all know this but he has won more than enough to deserve to be held in the same regard as the names mentioned above.

Its now the time for this Club to truly abandon its capacity for turmoil and play the stability card.

I respect your opinion, fella. I'm open minded to Pellegrini and if he comes, will see what he can do.

The truth is that the Fergie thing surely won't have any bearing on what our club does this summer. If Mancini is deemed to be right we keep him, if he isn't we get rid.

The wild card is if he resigns of course.

This guy is so right (cept maybe Klopp is rated too highly)

Heynckes for me. Give the man a 3 year contract and a shed load o' money. Christ that excites me :)

from what BP wrote before we could be looking at the wild card of Mancini walking out and maybe the other managers that people are mentioning are not available, not interested or not under consideration

tbf to Bobby every newspaper (rag tops and broadsheets) was saying he was going to get sacked (before the scum threw it away) and I do not think that looking for a new job when you are about to probably get the sack from your old one is that big a sin, do you, really?
There was no evidence he was going to be sacked though. I'll say it again - he and his wife are desperate to be nearer their families in Italy. I certainly don't blame them for that.
