It makes complete sense to me. Replace a 48 year old manager with 12 trophies in two of the hardest leagues with a 59 year old manager who has 7 trophies to his name, only one of which was in Europe and that was the Intertoto Cup.

Sign him up.

Can we do it after Saturday though as I'm looking forward to going to Wembley this weekend for the 4th time in 2 years (I couldn't make the Charity Shield) and I'd rather not have my chips pissed on please?

Great post mate. Sums up everything really, with plenty reality and a heavy slice of sarcasm. I'd have been proud of that one meself ! Some of us really are developing the "divine right" complex that we've observed and despised for so many years, in stretford.

BTW Pellegrini is said to be represented by Jesus Martinez who is also agent of Jackson Martinez and several other players ...

But in an article at sky sports Pellegrini said he is a very good friend of his but he is independent and has no representative .

Pellegrini "But I am independent from Jesus, I have no spokesman and I don't hide behind other people to say what I mean."
Article below also confirms Pellegrini has release clause of 4m euros..

Eh? You've lost me! Did we not lose 3-2 to the Rags at Wembley in August 2011 - I seem to remember being there.
