Your stadium is still half empty every other week. There's still no atmosphere at the COMS. Your supporters even copy another clubs celebration when your team scores. Whenever I go on holiday, I still see Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal shirts in many bars and resorts. Not a City one in sight.
I'd never trade our history, reputation and honours for oil money. Never.
1. You are jealous. Why would you come on a City forum and refer to it as "oil money" in that bitter, hateful way?
2. We've sold out every home game this season, bar one, against you lot, when the club were asked to charge £40 a mid-week game in England's "third cup", so to speak.
3. Anfield is as quiet as a library until you have to win a Champions' League game against a poor eastern-European team to struggle through.
4. Yes, and we openly admit that we copied it when we sing "Let's all do the Poznan" whilst jumping up and down.
5. It doesn't matter if you see shirts anywhere. What matters is one sight and one sight only: us in 1st, and you in 7th.
You hold on to your history, because it'll be all you've got in a few years. Fuck off our forum - now.
You'd know all about being "bitter". Don't the red side of Manchester all call you "bitters"? Wonder why that is? I wouldn't change the history, tradition and honours of Liverpool Football Club for all the money in the world thank you very much. You're never going to see your team lift 18 titles and 5 European Cups. You might see City win a few trophies but you'll never be a name in Europe like ourselves, AC Milan, Real Madrid etc are. You'll always be Manchester City "That team with a lot of money" and a half empty stadium every time they play.
Thinking about it, you're like a baby blue version of Chelsea. Your supporters only have about 2 songs on the terraces and when you reach League Cup Semi Finals, you couldn't hear a pin drop at the COMS. You get embarassed in Europe after God knows how many years of not playing there and your fans think the likes of Gareth Barry would get into the Barcelona first 11.
You have money. That's it. Money. No status, no worldwide support, no atmosphere, no image. Just money.
