Manchester City - Premier League Champions 2022/23

We spoke to him on the way in on Wednesday.

He’s a lovely man and was happy to spend time chatting with us.
I did the Tunnel Club a few years ago and Alex came over to say hello. He started with "You probably don't know who I am" and I said of course I do and he was genuinely pleased to spend a few minutes talking about all things City.

Lovely man and thoroughly deserved to be presenting the trophy today.

Great speech from Pep love the man he deserved to prove the attack dogs wrong “we did again”
that speech was when our season changed...he galvanised the whole club with what he said....especially. the bit about Im not leaving etc and the attack on the other clubs

Are you suggesting that City fans are morally superior to other fans?
no he is saying all clubs have fans who stick by their team no matter what and all teams will have those who disappear when things go bad...

City have a strong core of fans who have been there in the very bad times over the last 50 years or so.....watching us at places like scunthorpe, york, oldham etc....when in the odl 2nd division we still got 30000 attendances on a regular basis.

Arsenal, Utd Liverpool......you dont know what hard times are...I dont think for instance utd have been out of the top 7-8 teams in the top division in my lifetime....48 years...

Whats arsenal's lowest point in that time?

we have a core of fans who have been through it and watching the likes of your fans bleating on about how bad things are makes us smile as you dont have a clue about what following a team through hard times mean....As a kid my highlight was watching us beat huddersfiled 10-1 at home and then beating utd 5-1 at maine road when we were huge underdogss...at that point we couldnt even dream of being in the position we are now....but we still got the crowds home and away.......

Morally superior - who knows ....but as fans we have experienced more disappointment and hard times than most of the the other top teams in the prem combined in the last 50 years at least

Out of the treble on offer the three in a row was always the one I wanted most.
Now that we have it, it almost seems underwhelming because of the nature of Arsenal’s collapse and how the media have immediately started pushing the ‘115 charges’ agenda.

I so want to beat the Rags and I so want to sow a treble up the butts of the cartel. The difference in hype when Liverpool were in with a chance of everything and us now, is unbelievable.
The narrative of football in general kills a little bit of the love of the game for me, at a time when City are playing the best football of a generation if not , ever.
