Manchester City - Premier League Champions 2022/23

Anybody else pleased about today's result, because, like myself, they want us to break the 90-point barrier — yet again!
It really is incredible. Look back at the number of points required to win the league in years gone by. Look at some of the totals in the days of the First Division, when there were 42 matches! We're now making it a habit. It is just insane.

Since the inauguration of the PL, in terms of points, totals in the low eighties have been the norm, with several times totals falling to the high seventies. Leeds were the last old First Division champions, with 82 points, but from 42 games.
Pep has simply redefined what the required norm is to beat us.
We stand at 88 points, with two games to play. It's a minor issue, but I still want us to do it.
