To be honest i'd rather have Iniesta or Xavi , or Messi!

Xavi is a fantastic little player and pissed all over Englands midfield when we turned up for that friendly.

But realistically none of them are gonna leave Barcelona , are they ?

Get Eto'o and Tevez

2 DMs for away

................DJ.....................
....SWP......VK.......Ireland.....
..........Tevez....Robinho........
................Eto'o.................

or (Barca style) 1 DM for home

..................DJ..................
........SWP........Ireland........
Tevez.....................Robinho
...............Eto'o.................

Eto'o is probably the only player we could realisticly sign as he will be forced out if/when Barcelona sign David Villa.

I'd be over the moon if we got Eto'o

It would be a brilliant signing, but like others I would err on the side of caution.
wow, brave call! a press rumour that ends with us not signing the player - are you sure this one is not the exception?

I'd prefer Tevez. I think its important that we set a marker down that City will not be a soft touch next season. I'd like to see us model our development on that of Arsenal in Wenger's early seasons and Chelsea under Mourhino. Get some players in that will shake up our opponents particularly when it comes to away matches at places like Bolton on a cold night in December. Not sure that Eto'o falls into that category.

Goal.com

Enough said... :(

Goal.com has been very fair in their reports about City. They're never biased against us and were the first ones to rubbish the Raul and Messi "offer" stories. I think they deserve some credibility.
