In the first game against Villa, we were undone by a long hoof down the middle where both centerbacks got caught under the ball, so presumably that's why Garcia starts. He'll challenge for those headers and let the defenders sweep up behind him. Come on City!

Garcia is starting because Yaya is not ready for 90 minutes. He started last 2 games too for that reason.

Bringing Fernandinho for Yaya later in the game is better than doing it with Garcia. Garcia is purely defensive sub while Fernandinho could be even attacking one.

Still dont thinkg Garcia should be playing.....he nearly got himslef sent off vs Everton and against a team who will be playing on the break both him and kolorov are very vulnerable

Hopefully with Silva and Yaya back in the starting line up together it wont come to that tho

Id definitely have played clichy over kolorv though just for his pace in defensive situations....(hopefully that means we will get a kolorocket at some point this eve!!!!!!!!!!)

i would have thought jovetic and fernandinho instead of milner and garcia. i would have loved to go hard attacking early. the longer it stays goalless, the more interested villa will be in getting something. an early goal and they could go on holiday mode. ah well, im sure pellegrini are smarter than me...
