i would have thought jovetic and fernandinho instead of milner and garcia. i would have loved to go hard attacking early. the longer it stays goalless, the more interested villa will be in getting something. an early goal and they could go on holiday mode. ah well, im sure pellegrini are smarter than me...
Yeah I thinking rotating some players would be helpful. Rest Dzeko for the next game and give negredo a game. But I guess MP like to stick with the familiar.

Don't get why he keeps starting Garcia and Fernan on the bench. We were getting destroyed in midfield against Everton until Fernan came on.

Because we had player less in midfield, not particularly because it was Garcia over Ferna.

I think Garcia has improved this season but watching Barkley just breeze past him shows how limited a player he is. Delph is pretty pacey and can see him strolling past Garcia as well.

It's tricky we have 3 games in 8 days but you play your most in form players at this situation, simple as that. If score is positive then you rest some players later in the game. Definitely not a game to try bring Negredo's form back.

Reading between the lines, Paul Lambert just practically admitted he doesn't give a flying fuck about the result tonight.

think playing 3 at back says that, hes going for it, should be a belter of a game

Haha same here,we should be ok barring a complete disaster couldn't care less if we win due to an o.g as long as we don't lose .....
