It's fairly likely we'll get knocked out of the CL by Barca.
Que?!

Well, poor choice of words perhaps - The odds of us getting knocked out are greater than the odds of us progressing. Unlike tonight.

Well we have no Nasri and Milner is suspended for the first leg, so our squad will be stretched... and that's assuming we don't pick up more injuries between then and now! We'll really miss Nasri's ability to retain possession against Barca. It's now highly likely that we'll have to play Garcia and push Yaya forward, but Garcia will not cope with their pressing and movement. With Nasri i was confident, but without him it means playing someone who lacks technique. We can't afford to have too many of those players on the pitch v Barca. They'll expose it.
Are you sure Milner is suspended? I don't think he is

Garcia's technique is fine, mobility is what we will lack.

For them worried about Fernandhino I see that Pelli used Demichelis as a defensive midfield player and didn't look too bad either. I suppose he could go Garcia, Demichelis and Milner with Navas and two strikers up top. Not ideal, but may be enough for Blackburn.

I think Newcastle physically took it out of us on Sunday so I can see a very tough game coming up for us tomorrow.

I think Dzeko and Negredo are nailed on to start with Milner and Navas on the wings, Fernandinho has to play with Garcia next to him, and it wouldn't surprise me Manuel playing Kompany to ensure we have some stability in central defence with so many key players out for us.

I think we will see a return from Richards as well.

Lopes hopefully will get some game time.

With Aguero not yet up to speed, he might rest one of Negredo or Dzeko to ensure they are 100% for Saturday
