3 points is great, this team isn't going to win us anything but it looks good enough to get top 4!

The amount of potential in this team is really beyond belief. Keep in mind how great we will be when we get more competition in midfield with Vieira and signings in and Lescott back in defence. Mouthwatering. And we are on 41 pts and even two less games played, so it is really great the way I see it.

Maybe. But then again, haven't Spurs lost at home to both Wolves and Stoke so far (whereas we beat both of them). So the thinking behind your point is.......?

1. A point behind them with two games in hand.
2. We're unbeaten at home, they've lost 3 times.
3. We've played one less at home, yet scored the same number of goals as them - 28. And 9 of theirs came in one fucking game!

Impressed with our defence today. Boyota and Onouha looked very good when they came on. Better than any back-up defenders available to any of the other Top Six sides. Given looked shaky but he is entitled to an off day.

One of the worst home displays all season, but we won 2-0 and just a point behind Spurs with two games in hand plus Liverpool, Spurs and Aston Villa all have to come to Eastlands.
We are in a very strong position with the top4 spot is there for the taking, but we'll have to play much better than we did today.

Don't worry, we will raise our game to match the quality of our opposition....come on ye Gooners!

Shocking game, painful at times.Very under par performances from majority of the team,a better opposition would have murdered us.On the plus side,3 points and a very healthy looking league position.Praying vince recovers quickly as he has been excellent and deserves to keep his place,Barry beware, yours is under threat.

Why do we insist on playing a un-conventional 4 -0 -3 formation?
Wouldn't we be beter playing with a midfield. Like, err, most other teams.

Dreadful performance. Midfield non-existent again.

But we won. Just looked under-par. Didn't seem to be any urgency or quality on show...apart from the two finishes for the goals.

It's a good job Pompey are really shit.

But it's done now. I'd take shit performances that yield 3 points for us, every day of the week and twice on a Saturday.
