I wish people would stop saying it's just pre - season.

These games are going to be instrumental in our confidence going into the Champions League, if we beat Bayern tomorrow can you imagine how that will make the team feel, they will feel the can take anybody on.

Shipping three goals like we did was a disgrace, attacking wise we looked world class.

I think we are starting to see who are best players though now.

I would of liked Yaya to be rested a bit, will he play again tomorrow?? If he doesn't we will get tonked in midfield.

Barry looks inferior to Fernandinho at the moment for me as well.

Ideally Richards , Garcia , and kola don't all play together often , but given some time to adjust I really like the idea of Garcia as cover for a cb. Probably not the best time to say it but whatever .

The 3rd looked like Garcia stepped up to play their striker offside, but Lescott didn't. Once it's a race between anyone and Lescott/Garcia, it's all over. Not sure whether to blame Garcia for stepping on his own, or Lescott for not stepping up. Let's give them half the blame each...

The good news is, I'm sure Pelle wouldn't ever play these two at CB together, and with Kompany alongside, things would be a lot better.

Agree that we need a centre-back but did the game highlight the need for a defensive midfielder capable of screening the defence against Champions League opposition or not?

I can't stress this enough. We NEED a holding midfielder. Which elite team around doesn't have an elite holding midfielder?
