The same with Middlesbrough. If we played with the same urgency in the first half as we did the second then it will be a very different result. I mean really different like 4-0 or 5-0. It seems that the players struggle to motivate themselves especially against the so called lesser teams and that is very worrying. The manager and the players themselves are to blame. Even against Chelsea in the second half, a bit more urgency and desperation and we should have got the three points.
For such a talented team, we are really throwing away an opportunity to at least fight for the title. Stoke, Burnley, Hull, all at home. There is nothing worse the not making the most of your opportunities or talent and this season we have failed in that respect.
Lets qualify for the champions league and go on from there..........nah , not ready to call it a day yet. There is still a possibility but it will take an enormous effort from the players and manager ironing out many things. We can still do it but it is going to be very difficult.
