I don't buy all this stuff about "Liverpool imploding" or "this is their biggest game for 2 decades". Wishful thinking. They play an instinctive kind of game and are on a rare run of form. That said, there is no reason we should feel over-run. We are also on a great run, notwithstanding the astonishing media coverage of yesterday's game (reading which you would think we were out-shot 8 to 1 not the other way round).
I think 8 out of our 11 picks itself. The only real choices are Kolarov vs. Clichy and which two out of Navas, Milner, Dzeko or Aguero we start with. I would definitely go with Kolarov - I don't think he is that much inferior to Clichy defensively (if at all), and that is more than compensated for by his devastating activity down the left wing. I can see his interchanges with Nasri and deadly deliveries (is there a better crosser in the Premier League?) causing havoc against a shaky Liverpool defence. And in sync with that, I am very tempted to pick both Aguero and Dzeko and go 4-4-2. I know this goes against conventional wisdom for a tough away game and we only need a point, but I think this is our strongest 11. Aguero has to start if he is 100% as he is simply our best out-and-out goal scorer and Dzeko is currently playing with good confidence (still misses plenty he should score, but his movement off the ball is a marked improvement from earlier in the season). I also think this may surprise Liverpool who are probably assuming we will play it conservative.
In short, best form of defence is attack. Not saying we should go kamikaze at them, but show them we have no complex about playing at Anfield.

Also agree with the post earlier that our defence is going to be critical. I have been impressed with MDM recently - showing a lot of determination and also has distributed the ball well to create attacking opportunities. He and Kompany are starting to resemble the Kompany/Lescott partnership that won us the title.
