Why are so many of you Brits such bitchy message board posters. Here, Liverpoolfc, theShed, a lot of posters seem to have no interest in polite debate. I am replying to one example of it here.

and btw, I fully understand that Liverpool boards are no better...after Chelsea essentially eliminated us last year, I started a Congratulations Chelsea thread and was attached by other liverpool posters. This place doesnt seem to be much better.

I am moderator of an NFL board and while it can get nasty occasionally, it is nothing like this.

My 2cents.

Its football mate, the fact the fans are so passionate (tribal even) is part of the reason its the best sport in the world. Its not something my Aussie friends understand either so you're not on your own.

Tbh, I haven't seen him play, but Txixi and Pellers have, and if they decided he's worth €40m, he's no Tal Ben- Haim.

if manuel goes 2 in that midfield area we will get destroyed in there! Fernando will allow yaya and dinho to push on when needed to add to the attack. would love to have started Sergio but I think we`ll see him around the 60min mark if things are going well, just cant afford to lose this one as its our home game as well!

Win midfield battle and let Yaya have license to go forward. Fresh Aguero, Navas and Jovetic should we need them, or to hit on counter when they are knackered!

Given a choice between playing one striker with Yaya pushed forward, or playing two strikers with Jovetic perhaps a bit more withdrawn I would go down the two striker route for this game.

I think this could be a very big game for Jovetic. He's fully fit and up against a dodgy defense. Play him between Gerrard/ Allen and their back four and I think he can do some serious damage (just tell him to rein back on the speculative long range shots).

Save the single striker option for the trip to Arsenal
