Manchester City's plan for global domination.

CFG are already havin an effect on our playing roster and our income. They sign up players and assign their contract to a club within the group. If the player is good enough, he will eventually come to us. If not, they are sold. See Mr Mooy at Huddersfield. Small beer yet but will get bigger. The global nature of CFG will make them very attractive to players who live in poor circumstances in South America, Africa etc., who will see a way out with global possibilities- much better than plumping for one club. The idea of stand alone academies reinforces this. All this will eventually grow, we are only just starting really. Im very optimistic for our future, even if I wont be there to see it. The rags may have a billion supporters, but in thirty years, theyll all be playing in sky blue.

Let's not get carried away
If Peter Swales was still in charge there'd already be a deal in place for cheap TVs for fans not able to get to the game, Soriano out

Plus under the visionary leadership of generous Uncle Pete we could even pay for next seasons season ticket mid-way through this season! This Club is a pale shadow of its former self thanks to those pesky 3 Amigos.

Good long read.

Although the experience in Melbourne has been more frustration than joy. Early days but we seem to be going backwards in regards to style. Our new coach basically has been playing 6 defenders week in week out. The attacking but porous style under JVS has been replaced with dour hard to watch defence first mentality under Joyce.

It doesn’t. The point being someone else was talking about the stadium expansion and I am say why just yet?

We sell our tickets and 1,000 plus returned by the Away Club for a lot of Prem games. It seems the corporate tickets are harder to shift that could delay the further expansion of the ground.

I was on the Stadium Tour before the West Ham game and heard that the finances for the expanded North Stand had been signed off.it is a matter of when and not if the the expansion will take place.

Saw a presentation a few months ago through work related to innovation and leadership. It was presented in Germany with a global audience. It was not specifically football related. On one slide it presented brands of the future and can you believe it City was in there..

We havent used viagogo for two or three seasons now, only club exchange.

There is a face value ticket Facebook page that helps a lot of Blues to get tickets (who aren’t season card holders). One thing I notice on this service is that a lot of families seem to struggle to get tickets for Prem games, even though there are empties in the Famiky Stand for most games.

It’s interesting because the future was thought to be shirt sales and a larger stadium. The fact of the matter is this is a strategy so far beyond all that.

The worry is other clubs copying the model. I can’t anyone else having the appetite or money to do what we do.

I think it will be interesting if we unearth unknown players who make it with us or develop a clear route from Academy to first team.

I think the exciting this is the vision, which is a bigger, brighter, more exciting one than any other team in the world.
