MEN would have a field day today with circles for empty seats at Sunderland. There's plenty
Good god, it'd be easier to circle the occupied seats rather than the empty ones. Where'd everyone go?
Apparently the crowd is just over 16,000.
And those yer can see, most of 'em are pink! Have they washed 'em on too hot a wash?

Lynch alert! Lynch alert! Red crayons at the ready!

CITY V CHELSEA IS SOLD OUT.

*DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SEATS!*

Spencer has approved this garbage to go to print , to get this reaction , hundreds of posts and comments on the MUEN website and on here .Its about time the club took this toilet paper masquerading as a newspaper to task , and banned them and their owners Mirror group newspapers . A scouse journalist pandering to yooonited fans has got to be the lowest form of life , he will obviously enjoy his 5 minutes of fame , and then slide back into the gutter he was dragged from in his Liverpool slum.

We ( Sunderland) have rightfully been lambasted in the press due to today's crowd of 16,700, yet none of the London press once mentioned we were averaging 41k while bottom of the league. City are a great working class club, with genuine fans ( in general, although you undoubtably have some placca fans that have joined the ranks over the last 5 years). The London press will always slag you off, which is amazing considering what a shit club and supporters Chelsea were pre Abram, yet they big them up constsntly

I must admit fella I was surprised at the lack of interest from the Mackems in the fixture.

Bet nobody's mentioned the hard core who made the journey down on Wed at their own expense to be told last minute it was off - don't suppose the coaches gave a refund or the motorway services gave you coffee and sandwiches for nothing. It all adds up and we're working class clubs with working class fans and only have a finite budget to spend. Still 16K in a 49K ground is a bit shit (which you accept to be fair)
We've all had the odd shite attendance so I won't be throwing any stones.

Oh and it looked like Southampton fans came in a black cab!

They've got a cup final to pay for, and that won't be cheap. Can't blame fans for picking and choosing their games in todays climate.

To be fair anyone who knows anything about football knows that Sunderland are a loyal bunch, it was a bad attendance but they've already had one cup run to shell out for and they took over half of today's attendance down to Old Trafford. Talking of fitting away fans in a black cab, check out the Bolton contingent at Millwall!

That Bolton photo is misleading, there were a further 500 or so to the right, god knows why those 20 we're kept separate

Is Oakie about? :-?

House prices near Old Trafford more expensive than the Etihad.

People who live in the same postcode as Old Trafford have an average house price of £188,285 - around £45,000 more than their ‘noisy neighbours’ - according to an M.E.N report <a class="postlink" href="http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/house-prices-near-manchester-united-7455570" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... ed-7455570</a>

Wait a minute! I get it, it was a pun.

Noisy-*neighbours*. House prices.

Sorry, my mistake.

PS. Is there anyone in the MEN readership that didn't know that fact. Daft bastards!

It's a bit weird that the Liverpool and Everton prices are so different when they're basically opposite each other!

Thank god we moved from moss side!

Have a walk towards Kirkdale station from Goodison and you'll see why. ;-)

Are there any residential properties near the Britannia, all I've seen is the West Coast main line, a big fuck off dual carriageway and lots of industrial units. Mind you in 1998 there were enough bricks flying around to build a house.
