Does anyone else find it ever so slightly ironic that a group of people are protesting about the price of fuel and how it's costing them so much money by burning a load more?

Bit like protesting about knife crime by going round and stabbing people.

i imagine that the m62 from birch to simmister island will be busy from now until about 1pm. From simmister to j24 you will be fine, but watch out for the new 50mph average cameras, if they are running today - they may not have started yet, just beware

they have gone up this week but not sure if they are operational as of yet. For some reason they are repairing some "cracks" that have appeared in the road. Personally i think its one of the best bits of motorway in the country, fast, smooth not that busy so why they need to repair a few "cracks" instead of filling in the numerous pot holes elsewhere god only knows!!!

i thought they were doing it to alter the camber because too much rain stays on the surface making it one of the fastest lakes in britain
