Manchester Restaurant Thread

Wife and I came back to Manchester last year on holiday and she had the best single dish she has ever tasted it was the chicken and white chocolate risotto with truffle oil at a place called Dough in the northern quarter ....I tasted it and it was amazing ....for me Pho's Brisket curry with added prawns is the best ...Pho is in that square behind the cathedral ... Corn Exchange Square I think

Tast. Expensive but good.
Lunya. Tapas style.
Rudy's. Excellent Authentic pizzas.
Fumo.
Solita ( been a while but this used to be excellent )

If heading into town always try and go to this and that. Family like going to Glamorous above wing yip supermarket. Dim sum trolley service at weekends is really good but can get busy.

Wife tried going to aladins the other week but it was full so the went to the Lotus vegitarian kitchen over the road. Said its the best veggie meal she'd had for long time. They don't sell alcohol but red lion is a few doors down.

We are currently working through the alphabet by countries. So far done armenian taverna, bem brazil, el cuba libra in Hyde. Next is kro for Denmark. Particularly liked the armenian taverna

Mate get down to the (non chav) independent food court at the Arndale you can box off about 15 countries off at least. Off there myself in an hour :)

Aladdin seems worth a visit. Just googled it, very similar menu to Jasmine in Chorlton. I can't fault jasmine and must have eaten there about 25 times as the food never disappoints . I must try Aladdin now. Cheers BB: )
Jasmine is better than Aladdin in my opinion , prefer Pasha along the block from Aladdin, a little dearer but top notch
