Manchester sight-seeing

Hello fellow blues,
I am planning to take a trip to UK in 3 months. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me last year but I am planning to make it work this time. Just wondering, what are some places to visit Manchester? Some names of good restaurants and bars would also be nice. I will also be travelling London, Brighton and Bristol. Any ideas about these cities/

I wouldn’t bother with either Bristol or Brighton, unless you have to visit family

That's interesting. I don't have family there but heard it's a nice tourist place. Any other cities in mind?

Is it your first time?

London will be fine, try York, Chester, the Lakes, Birmingham, Liverpool.
Bristol and Brighton are both a bit meh.

If you want to see Manchester’s architecture, go to some roof terrace bars, the king street town house is always a good shout, nice hotel for a few nights as well.
