For the £400 million he has given to the club,
For writing off the Shinawatra debts,
The £220 million he gave the last manager,
The big money he plans to invest over the next few years,
Saving us from becoming a WHU or a Portsmouth,
The transformation of Carrington training ground,
The appointment of a top class Communication company, the web-site, adverts etc,
The plans for the re-development of Eastlands,
The new administration block at the club,
For keeping ticket prices very low,
For giving us arguably our best squad ever...

You are without doubt the best owner anyone could have..........

If Carlsberg did football club owners they would be Sheikh Mansour.

I think the odd post like this is a perfect tonic for those fans (maybe all of us to a degree) that seem to have quickly forgot the shit we were in just a few seasons ago. That's not a dig by the way, just an observation on how things have monumentally turned around for us. I mean, when we now fork out 20 to 30 million quid for a player I don't even bat an eyelid as it has (rightly or wrongly) come to be perceived as the norm. The thing is this isn't the norm, this is fantasy football and the fans of practically any team in the world would fucking die to be in such a fortunate position as we find ourselves.

That's not to say we can't have a moan when the team doesn't play well or point out an individual's shit performance in any given game. Just that the collective mass mourning and manic depressive, over the top perception that the sky's falling in every time something doesn't go our way is a tad dramatic and smacks of going on hunger strike because the waiter in the 3 Star Michelin restaurant you've just dined in didn't fill your wine glass quick enough.

It's hard to believe the position we are now in. I remember us getting beaten by Bury around 12 years ago and wondered if we would ever get back near to the top. We have and it is all down to one man.....................

I some times still can't belive it.

All we can say is thank you and i hope in some small way we make you proud of buying our club.

And also thank you Sheikh for promising we meet the new FFP rules!

We know you wont let us down! A few years..and Manchester City will be one of the best team and biggest clubs in the world!

We need to reduce our wage bill and expenditures. And raise our income. Then we will be able to spend like Liverpool, United and Arsenal in the upcoming window. And keep us competive!

The future is blue!

Pretending to be a City fan when you're not is just pathetic.

David Silva.

haha :) "There's only one Sheikh Mansour, ONE SHEIKH MANSOUR!! There's only one SHEIKH MANSOUR, ONE SHEIKH MANSOURRRR!!!"

Need to sing that when we win the FA Cup/Europa League

Well i dont have much but i'd be happy to share it with our good sheikh after all he's done for this club. I still pinch myself and think is the league table upside down, and are we really third bottom going into yet another "save our season" run in?

It's important we never lose sight of just how blessed we are with our owners, now or ten years down the line.

only one man is responsible for us getting us to our first semi in the FA cup for 30 years...............

yes you've guessed it
