thank you so much,not just for the stars but the day you took us over you effectively saved us as a club.

I must admit that I sort of just laughed out opening this thread again and seeing a "Thanks MCFCBOB" post..no slight intended, just a bit hilarious.
 
i would just like to say "THANK YOU". im 38 years young so i can personelly say i have had some good old school days following the blues but what lies ahead is making me cream my self,we have took the jokes,beatings etc but they have long gone now. THIS IS YOUR CITY.....

I wonder how many consider that Sheikh Mansour was at that age (38 y.o) when he bought the club?

It´s not a octogenarian looking for a last statement before he drops dead we have as owner, and Khaldoon is even a bit younger I think.
Somehow I feel that it changes the rules somehow, success today is not as important as success tomorrow perhaps if you follow my drift.
 
I'm having a few days away with the family, sitting in a hotel bar on my own having a couple of pints after dinner (wife put out 2 sons to bed after dinner and I nipped down for a pint and to catch the end of the Arsenal game), and all is right with the world.

But the world just seems so much better (SO much better) cos I've just been reflecting on what's recently happened to this amazing football club that we all love.

And what gives me particular delight this evening, is to reflect on the fact the our owner is still a young man (same age as me in fact!), and so clearly in it for the long haul, and with a philanthropic outlook as regards Manchester as a whole - not JUST City.

*sighs with happiness, sips pint*
 
If Carlsberg did Football Club owners... oh hang on - they already do! Aren't we the lucky ones. Keep doing it for the Sheikh, City - we simply have to keep him onside! CTID (35 years of suffering well and truly laid to rest!)
