Would love to meet him one day and thank him for all he has done. A truly great man.

Don't think anyone could question any fans loyalty to the club Shiekh Mansour is a gift for us for sticking by the club through thick and thin well thin and thinner I cannot thank the man enough for what he has done and kept it realistic for fans under £600 for me and my two sons to watch all the home games and defend the title brilliant thank you!

Did Sheikh Mansour just bought Leeds United?

According to his Wiki Page:

Manchester City
He is the owner of Manchester City FC, a football team in the English Premier League. Since his takeover, Manchester City won the FA Cup and the English Premier League, the first league trophy for the club since 1968[13]. He has spent £426.3 million on 24 players between 2008 and 2012.

NEW OWNER OF LEEDS UNITED as of Tuesday 3rd July 2012

the wiki is changed now with the leeds purchase removed

You can go back and change it to "After buying Manchester City Sheikh Mansour is rumoured to prepare a bid for local rival Manchester United with the view to merge the clubs.."

Anyone can change a wiki post

Your not allowed to own two teams that have the potential to play each other in an competitive match.

As others are saying, would love to meet HRH Sheikh Mansour. I owe him a huge thanks.

I think you are actually, but can only enter one of them in the same competition which makes it pointless to have two..

And if we use Royal formalities..It´s HH Sheikh Mansour, not HRH. The Emirs don´t consider themselves kings but rulers.
Mind you, an Emir can declare himself king but that carries odd undertones because of the religious significance of kingship in the region.

So you are correct mate. Never knew that.
With regards of the ownership, you are correct too. You're a walking encyclopaedia :)
