Your not allowed to own two teams that have the potential to play each other in an competitive match.

As others are saying, would love to meet HRH Sheikh Mansour. I owe him a huge thanks.

I think you are actually, but can only enter one of them in the same competition which makes it pointless to have two..

And if we use Royal formalities..It´s HH Sheikh Mansour, not HRH. The Emirs don´t consider themselves kings but rulers.
Mind you, an Emir can declare himself king but that carries odd undertones because of the religious significance of kingship in the region.
So you are correct mate. Never knew that.
With regards of the ownership, you are correct too. You're a walking encyclopaedia :)

Not really, just spend to much time on footy forums.. ;)

A Sheikh is more or less an "Elder", a leader among men in some way..something like a chieftain in the gulf though.

Emirs are rulers, a kind of lord with loads of Sheikhs following him.

Sultans claim both wordly and religious power

Kings often claim a line from the prophet himself, at least they try quite often

Great stuff, appreciate the insight.

So I'm guessing Sheikh Mansour is quite a powerful man in the Emirates.

Did Sheikh Mansour just bought Leeds United?

According to his Wiki Page:

Manchester City
He is the owner of Manchester City FC, a football team in the English Premier League. Since his takeover, Manchester City won the FA Cup and the English Premier League, the first league trophy for the club since 1968[13]. He has spent £426.3 million on 24 players between 2008 and 2012.

NEW OWNER OF LEEDS UNITED as of Tuesday 3rd July 2012

<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mansour_bin_Zayed_Al_Nahyan" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mansour_bi ... _Al_Nahyan</a>
