Keep the ball in midfield and they wont have too many opportunities to lump it forwards as that seems to be their only tactic. So....
Let's have some players who carry a high top trumps rating for ball retention: Rodri, KDB, Silva, Foden, Bernardo, Jesus. All of them ahead of a back 4, what form that takes is anybody's guess.
