Only threat Utd have is the pace of martial & Rashford get our defence right we will be fine.

Foden, mendy, sane should start for me.
We need pace & energy.

Leave sterling & d silva on the bench. Both look shattered and great subs to bring on.

All down to selection this game. Please pep no Jesus or Mahrez but I honestly see him playing one of them if not both.

Tried discussing a preview of the game with some Man U fans in China. Didn't go too well. They didn't even know that they were at home. Typical. I was in Shanghai 2006 for the pre season tourney and had an absolute brilliant time especially drinking with the Perth Blues, not too many local Shanghai Blues in them days though.

He's more than capable....surely can't be long now until he gets a full England cap. Pep is managing him very well and it's starting to come to fruition.

Agree. It not just a token appearance either. He is a first team player now and will be playing on merit. I think at times this season our midfielders have played too many games and there hasn’t been enougg rotation. David Silva in particular.

Foden has fitted in to this squad so well that I no longer see him as one of the kids but just a normal member of the first team like everyone else.

Sorry, but Foden will not be able to cope physically against that scummy midfield, they would relentlessly target him, knowing he could lose possession easily with the slightest of nudges. By all means bring him on in the latter stages of the game, if we're winning comfortably, otherwise, just no from me.

He'd play in a more advanced role though like David Silva, making runs into the box. I'd welcome those nudges. ;)
