After much deliberation, this is my XI for tomorrow -

Ederson
Walker
Cancelo
Stones
Dias
Rodri
KDB
Bernardo (close call with Gundo, wouldn’t mind either
Foden
Sterling
Jesus

Wide men on their natural sides, Jesus on the right (can swap with Raz if things aren’t working) and Foden on the left. They’ll pack their back line with five we need to stretch them rather than continually checking back inside and create those spaces for KDB and Bernardo/Gundo. Sterling will trouble Maguire behind with his pace.
Can’t believe I overlooked the option of KDB being used in the false nine position so we can play Bernardo, Gundo and KDB. Perfect team picked from Pep if you ask me, now down to the players.

Mahrez instead of De Bruyne on form but if Pep think's different I'm not arguing.
Lets Gooooooooooooo.
Their only chance of winning is by playing quick counter attacks - the one area of weakness in Mahrez's game is his positioning when teams break quickly, he's not the best at tracking back either. Pep has gone with work rate and Kev is in there because despite him getting back to fitness he is capable of at least two moments of sheer class per game - He needs these big games to get to 100%. Good lineup with both Jack and Mahrez an option when they tire.

As long as Cancelo doesn’t go wandering off like he usually does and neglects his defending, we should win this.
There’s more than enough intensity with Gabby, Berni and Phil to make the rags feel dizzy.
If we play with the desire and pace we did v Chelsea, they won’t be able to deal with us.
Please put the chances away!!!!!
Would like to see if Raz comes on later, but only if we are ahead, he needs the confidence boost.
