Just not sure if Mendy can be trusted to defend well enough. I would prefer Delph at left back. Otherwise the team picks itself.

Always amuses me how many get hot under the collar because their fav player hasn't been selected and have no reason why but still spit their dummies out

It is not possible to include all my favourite City players in one starting eleven... there are too many of them.

What a dilemma for pep who to pick mendy Delph or Zinchenko who plays alongside Laporte which 2 play on he wings?

International break after this match so I expect the lads to be in 5th gear for the whole match. I want to see us turn it up a few levels. Even if we score a few goals, keep going!! Go for 10!!! Embarrass them!

Sane v Mahrez:

Mahrez gets the nod imo. He gets better each game. Did everything against Shakhtar, scored, assisted twice, won the ball back. Partially his second assist, a dream move from Pep, an attacker won the ball back in midfield and immediately assisted Jesus for his hat trick. While with Sane we don’t know which one will turn up, the world beater or the one that lacks focus.

Mendy v Delph

Mendy will surely start. Played great against Liverpool, hot and cold after that but even if he has an off day he could still put in a couple of deadly crosses and change the game. Delph offers almost nothing in attack and even though he’s defensively solid he has an error in him, I.e the derby and Wigan. So easily possible he can have an off day especially as he hasn’t played much recently.

Have Sane and Jesus on the bench ready to come on and cause chaos if needed.

6-1 but I’ll settle for 5-0 ;)

Mendy has got about 5 errors per match in him. He’s been lucky that one hasn’t led to a goal yet. Delph is the better all round left back, so he gets the nod for me.
