Doesn't really matter what team or formation we put out as we'll still win.
Here's mine anyway.
Ederson
Walker Stones LaPorte Mendy
Fernandinho
Sterling Bernardo Silva Sane
Aguero

That's a tad arrogant. Anything can happen. I just want a win. It doesn't matter how it comes. It doesn't matter if we're second best, even.

A win puts City 12 points clear or United and even at this early stage, all but it eliminates United as competitors, while maintaing atleast a 2 points gap on Liverpool and Chelsea having gotten one of our toughest matches out of the way.

The only other match before the new year which will be troublesome is Chelsea AT Stamford bridge. Win that, and we would be sitting pretty. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Get this win.

I had wanted the rags to lose to Juventus but while their lucky escape will give them a boost it will also remind City to be on top form. Mahrez to start, Delph not Mendy, and predict City win 4-0. Only three things worry me: a shocking decision by the ref, like sending off Kompany in the F.A. Cup a few years ago, or an early goal for the rags (City have started slowly and given lots of teams chances in the first few minutes), or Stones/Walker having one of their "went to sleep" moments. Rags have more to worry about from City, so I am strangely confident for a big City victory. Actually that's the fourth thing that worries me.

The worry for me is conceding needless free kicks around the area and a lack of height
I would put Kompany in and Danilo for Mendy who is off form.

Mendy has got about 5 errors per match in him. He’s been lucky that one hasn’t led to a goal yet. Delph is the better all round left back, so he gets the nod for me.
Think that's a bit of an exaggeration. Walker is very error prone too but is still important for cutting out counter attacks. Mendy also has an important role to play but it's further up the pitch. He arguably has the best delivery in world football which for me outweighs the mistakes that I think will become less frequent the more he gets used to playing in this team.

I’m almost sure Pep will pick Mendy. He needs these types of games. Think he will step up again.

Usually I would have Delph so I fully understand your view but I felt Mendy was great against the dippers and was left out completely yesterday for a reason. The fact that Delph hasn’t played much recently and that Zin was preferred to him at LB yesterday tells me there is little chance of him starting the derby.

Our best team is sane and raz with the twins and sergio, delph for me,benny is so out of form and is not doing the basics well, the rest of the team i'd be happy with whoever starts
