It's a derby game and nothing is to be taken for granted as last season's game proved. We may have the better team and squad but they definitely have players to hurt us if they play to their potential. They also have the ref in their corner. Impossible to call really.

Last season was a freak. We rested a few players and they clearly had their eyes on the 2nd leg v Liverpool

No distractions this time and as a bonus the matches both teams played midweek will give us a big advantage

There are no guarantees in football, if there was it would be boring, but everything is there for us. My prediction 4-1

I don't worry about the referee. The fans concern has reached the PL chiefs and Taylor will be under utmost pressure not to show any biased decisions.

Agree with this.
We're miles better than them.
But in the "good old days" we used to raise our game and they could well do tomorrow.
Confident we'll win but taking nothing for granted.
Still hate them ( never forget that club sponsored banner).

dinho is my favourite for an early bath although we are fortunate Rughead isnt telling the ref what to do anymore , our defence has been good this season ,and if we arent confident of beating the Rags now ,then we never will be.

when you see posts like 4-0, 5-0 etc, people saying we are much better so will definitely win....then thats what troubles me.

Football is always throwing up surprises. we were the underdogs for a long time and we beat them....that us the beauty of the game. When chuckle brother fed the goat we were underdogs, when we won 5-1 we were underdogs, when Giovani planted one in, we were underdogs......and so on.

So. I don't give a shit about the underdog. I'm a City fan ;-)
I think this is a City forum and so I expect a bit of positivity. You could have said everything in your post, without

Well said. It’s like we should be embarrassed that we are now the best team in all the land. Yes we could get beat tmrw but you know what, they are fucking shit and we hopefully send the rag pricks back to London with a fucking hefty defeat.
