Plaza is my go to curry place.Have you been there mate?
Never had a bad meal there.
The owner's son has opened his own restaurant in Stalybridge too which is very good - but not as good as the plaza.

Mr Ali's on Middleton Rd was once my only destination for an evening curry but for some reason which I cannot remember I stopped going.Prachee is highly recommended. Always enjoyed the the Raj Doot, Mr Ali’s near Heaton Park used to be very good although I’ve not been for a few years.
I have and it's a really good curry house. Best booking as it gets busy most nights.Have you been there mate?
Do most of these places cater for vegetarians? I imagine it’s a yes but it’s a long time since I had a ruby out and my diet has changed. Sadly the milder the better too whilst I wear a stoma bag!
Their late night Alsatian vindaloo was superb…One for the older bluemooners The plaza cafe on upper Brooke st
still never had a curry like it
I’d easily have a madras back in the day but no more for the moment. The reason why I asked the original question is that the consistency of curries have changed a lot over the early years. I can get a curry one day that is very hot and another day it's insipid.
For people with requirements it must me a nightmare because you might order mild and it might not be that mild.
