Glad he's still here just sorry he was prepared to walk out when the going was getting tough.

He was looking at other opportunities as his contract was running down regardless of the position of the team at the time not because of it. He was apparently offered a salary to go to Monaco which was similar in value to the one he signed here but would have paid no tax. so in real terms he was offered 40% more but chose to stay with City.
