It certainly works against sides that have a go against us and then we hit them on the counter, not sure how it'll work against sides that will just park the bus against us, those games will need us to be a little more positive in our play imo.
You're right about mentality playing a big part though, it's easy to get up for games against Chelsea or Liverpool but we need to be doing that for the so called 'smaller' sides too and that has caused us problems before, i do see that changing under Mancini though.

I think you are spot on regarding the lack of winning mentality.

Though I suspect it's more an historic thing than something associated with much of the current squad.
