Mancini at the game tonight

Whether you liked him or not, I don't think anybody could ever deny that he was one of us.

I loved Mancini during his time hear but I fear we're getting in to a blue tinted specs situation. He's done little of note since he left and he managed us at the time when we really were out spending other clubs. With the squad we had you could argue that we shouldn't have had to wait until the 94th minute of the last game of the season to win the league. There were a fair few poor performances the following year and refusing to sell Balotelli despite knowing he wanted out and then missing out on Van Persie was a dreadful error. Initially Bobby did a great job of whipping City into shape but falling out with virtually every senior player was idiotic. In any other walk of like a manager who could neither manage upwards nor downwards would have been given the boot.

There's a very stupid gobshite next to me in 118 who believes everything went wrong because Txiki didn't like Mancini because he wasn't a yes man. It seems more the other way round. Mancini didn't like being told the facts of life and just refused to accept limitations around FFP.

If Mancini gets a song I'll join in because he earned it. if it happens it will probably come not long after we go behind. I'd rather sing Guardiola's name though. I reckon he may have a tougher job on his hands than Mancini ever did.

I love him. No city manager before or since has come close to meaning as much as he does to me.

The perfect manager at the time. He took on the bullying Scottish wanker and saw him off. He took on the malaise at city that had been there for decades that lived by the mantra "if we can fuck this situation up, we will".

Turned us into winners and won games by sheer force of personality.

But no songs tonight please. We have a manager and whatever frustrations he may have caused some of us - including myself - I don't agree with singing for another manager.

But whatever the next few years bring us be in no doubt that none of it would be happening if not for the foundations laid down by Mancini.

But he is the past. Pep is the future.

Fuerza Pep.

Haha silva will be booted out when he gets here

They would be singing in appreciation for an ex-manager. Surely even you can see that. Then again, with some of shite that you post, maybe not.

That man..............................was,is and always will be.......................the fucking dogs bollocks...........nuff said

No matter how his last season panned out, this man is a legend. An actual legend. He was the perfect fit for us.

Bobby Manc will be watching that tonight and thinking what the fuck has happened to the Goalkeeper and back four which I made watertight
